My Top Four Games of 2016
The only other 2016 release I beat was TrumPiñata, but there's no way I'm putting that atrocious cash grab in a "Top Games of 2016" list.

Every year, NeoGAF has a 52 games challenge, in which you have to beat 52 new games before the start of the next year. There is also a movie and book equivalent, in which you have to read 50 new books and watch 50 new movies. These challenges provide that extra motivation to do/finish the things you already wanted to anyway and can lead you to checking out stuff you otherwise may not have (this is especially true with books).
Once again, I didn't even come close to completing the challenge, beating only one more game than I did in 2015.

While there's not many ways for monsters to approach me on the Bridge, level 7 of The Brookhaven Experiment's campaign, there sure are a lot of them to kill. A couple of good jump scares in this one.
It turns out that water does very little to deter the enemies of The Brookhaven Experiment. Here is my playthrough of the campaign's sixth level, Reservoir, in virtual reality on the HTC Vive.
Things get sticky as I encounter some new eight-legged foes in The Brookhaven Experiment's fifth campaign level, Storm Drain, played in virtual reality on the HTC Vive.
Out of flashlight batteries and surrounded by darkness, I try to survive long enough in The Brookhaven Experiment's Lab Observatory to copy important data to a USB drive and escape. Aw, they're so cute!
A new patch has been released for The Brookhaven Experiment. I take a look at it while playing through the third level of the Campaign mode, Lab Basement. Make sure you pay attention to your surroundings when shooting the big guys!

The Brookhaven Experiment released yesterday, and as a recording test for HTC Vive games, I decided to try out Survival Mode and see how it compares to the demo. I wasn't quite prepared for what I encountered on Wave 4.
