In part 6 of my Let's Play of Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Rikimaru is ordered to kill a finance minister who also happens to be the son-in-law of one of Matsunoshin Gohda's most trusted advisers. My memory of this game from 17 years ago thought this was actually the first level of the game, as it is what stood out to me the most.
